A letter was signed by thousands of artists who belong to a collective, which calls itself “Musicians for Palestine”, asking ceasefire in Gaza. The signatories of the appeal include, among others, the bands Pulp, Fontaines DC, Mogwai, the musicians Brian Eno, Tom Morello, Rappers Kid Cudi, Mykki Blanco and the singers Kali Uchis and Kehlani.
“Today, we demand an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian aid to Gaza and an end to the siege” the letter states. “The next day, the our vision of a just and peaceful future for all it must be our most urgent task. We urge everyone who shares this vision to join us.”
The letter is the latest call for a ceasefire by music artists. Previously an open letter was signed by Dua Lipa, Michael Stipe, Caroline Polachek, Run the Jewels and many others.

“We stand for life, love, justice and peace. We mourn with all in Palestine/Israel who have lost loved ones. We share their sorrow and pain” is pointed out in the letter, according to APE – MEB.
