Elon Musk plans to hold more campaign events in Pennsylvania for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, a source said on Monday (7), after the billionaire made an appearance at a rally for the former president in the state.
On Saturday (5), Musk jumped and raised his arms as he took the stage to support Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
It was the first time that the Tesla chief executive and owner of the social network X attended a Trump campaign event since his public support for the former president following the July 13 assassination attempt at the same location.
According to the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, Musk’s appearances are connected to the billionaire’s political action committee America PAC.
The Trump campaign did not respond to a request for comment.
The state of Pennsylvania is considered crucial for both Trump and his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, in the race for President in the November 5 elections. On Wednesday, Trump will participate in rallies across the state in Scranton and Reading.
