On Tuesday night (17), Lucas Lima won the award for “Best New Actor” at the Bibi Ferreira Awards, in recognition of his performance in “Once – The Musical”.
In the early hours of this Wednesday (18), the musician took to social media to express his gratitude for the victory, referring to Sandy as “my beautiful ex-wife” in his full speech.
“I don’t know what to put as a caption, so here’s what I planned to say before I knew the limit was 30 seconds”, wrote Lucas Lima at the beginning of the post on Instagram.

“Zé, Fê, Malo and Rafa. Getting a revelation Bibi being sculpted by you is almost stealing in the game. This is so you and you know it and yet you will say it was me but it was you, it’s you here.
To our producers/gladiators Dani and Marco Griesi and Renata Alvim, I still think it was tremendously irresponsible for you to have asked me to do the play and I will thank you for that for the rest of my life.
Our cast, my brothers, trench partners, who intimidated me absurdly when I saw the size of your talent and competence, and who were so patient, so delicate and generous with me, who taught me and carried me here.
For our most beautiful backstage in the world, our backstage, sound and light artists. We were happy and knew it, every day. Man, what a team, what a family.
For my Lima family, who for the first time in 30 years agreed to stop our band to give these 4 months as a gift to me.
For my beautiful ex-wife who in this case was still a wife and who had to pick up the pieces when I came home from rehearsals wanting to give up because I couldn’t handle it. You assured me that I would manage long before it seemed like I would.
For my son who loves this show more than anyone on the planet, who would text with me and who sometimes I still find himself reading the play program before bed.
This was a very difficult year for me, with the highest highs and the lowest lows. It took me 40 years to find theater. And that’s good because I think I needed this whole life to be able to truly understand and appreciate the beauty, immensity and value of theater. There won’t be enough time to thank and repay everything that theater has done for my soul, but I promise that I will try. This is sacred to me. Thank you very, very much,” he wrote.
Separated, Sandy and Lucas sang together in Lisbon
Days after announcing their divorce, Sandy and Lucas Lima sang together during a show they performed in Lisbon, Portugal, at the beginning of October this year. The song chosen was “Tudo Teu”.
In videos circulating on social media, it is possible to see the singer joking that she decided to “take a look” at her ex-husband. “Shall we work?” says Sandy.
