This September 21st is remembered as National Day for the Struggle of People with Disabilities.

The date seeks to raise awareness among the population about the importance of developing inclusion in society.

A CNN Radio on CNN Plural, Cailana Bauer, known as Cacau, told what her life is like as the first influencer with Down syndrome.

She has almost 500 thousand followers on social media and seeks to provide information about ableism.

“The most common doubts I have are about ableism, which is judging people based on their disability,” he said.

The influencer recalled that she “feels very happy and honored” to clarify these points for her followers: “I like to shine.”
