Security camera footage captured the moment a young woman was robbed in São João do Meriti, Baixada Fluminense. The footage shows the suspects’ actions, which resulted in the theft of the victim’s cell phone.
In the video, the young woman appears accompanied by two other girls when she was approached by two men on a motorcycle. During the action, one of them got off the motorcycle and went towards the group. The images show the suspect choking the victim and throwing her to the ground to take her cell phone. Look:
At the time of the incident, the young woman became desperate and screamed for the suspect not to take the cell phone, because according to her, her father was still paying for the product.
“No, man. Straight talk, bro. My phone! My dad is paying with my card!”, says the victim. After the criminals’ action, it is possible to see the young woman sitting on the floor and crying.
The Military Police reported that they are working together with the local police station to identify those involved in the case.
