“My Fault”: book that inspired film gets Portuguese version

After the success of the film “My fault” (2023) on Prime Video, the book that inspired the production gained a Portuguese version. The publisher Universo dos Livros launched the work of the Argentinean Mercedes Ron in Brazil last Friday (20).

The plot follows teenager Noah’s move to her mother’s new boyfriend’s mansion in another city. There, she starts to live with Nicholas, her “half-brother”, with whom she doesn’t get along right away. However, she ends up discovering Nick’s secret life, which involves car racing and clandestine fights, and starts frequenting the same places. With each encounter, the attraction between the two grows greater and greater and they try to resist the temptation.

The book is part of the “Culpables” trilogy. So far, only the first volume has arrived in Brazil.

The second volume will also be adapted by Prime Video. The production arrives on the streaming service in December this year.

The film of “My fault” is starred by Nicole Wallace It is Gabriel Guevara . It was in the Top 10 most watched titles on the platform in more than 190 countries.
