Clio disappeared from her family tent at a campsite on October 16, sparking a huge search. For abduction A 36-year-old man will be charged. This is likely to happen later this afternoon, police said.
The girl was eventually found in a house in Carnarvon, about a six-minute drive from her family home. Detective Cameron Blaine, one of the officers who found her, said Clio was awake and knew the moment she was rescued.

The lights in the house were on and she was playing with toys when she was spotted by police. Authorities say the man in custody has nothing to do with the Smith family.
Detective Rod Wilde told reporters he would likely be charged this afternoon. He added that the man had been admitted to hospital after trying to injure himself while in custody.
Detective Blaine told reporters his joy and relief that he found the child alive and well. “It was amazing to see her behave like a normal four-year-old,” he said.
Police added that the family will receive advice on the next steps of the investigation.
Detective Wilde said they had experts interviewing Clio, warning that it had to be done very carefully and that it could take days before they could get any information from her.
Police have not officially named the man suspected of abducting her.
