MyEFKAlive expands its operation in areas of Epirus and Central Greece

The Ministries of Digital Governance and Labor & Social Affairs are proceeding with a new geographical expansion of myEFKAlive. Specifically, the possibility of remote service to the citizen by an e-EFKA employee via video call now covers geographically the residents of the regions of Epirus and at the same time extends to Central Greece.

In particular, myEFKAlive includes the following areas:

• From the Region of Epirus: Ioannina (TD A ‘Ioannina, TD B’ Ioannina), Metsovo, Konitsa, Igoumenitsa (TD Thesprotia), Paramythia, Arta (TD Arta), Preveza (TD Preveza) Philippiada and Parga.

• From the Region of Central Greece: Evia (Chalkida – TD A ‘Evia, Mantoudi, Aliveri – TD B’ Evia, Kymi, Karystos) and Skyros.

MyEFKAlive is a product of the cooperation of executives of e-EFKA, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the General Secretariat of Information Systems of Public Administration of the Ministry of Digital Government, which has developed this platform for other agencies and organizations. It was put into operation last July and is gradually expanding throughout the Territory, with an emphasis on remote areas. The service enables citizens, especially residents of mountainous, island or remote areas, as well as people with disabilities, to be served by video call, from their home or office, without the need to move to an e-branch. ΕΦΚΑ.

A total of sixteen (16) digital services are provided through the myEFKAlive platform, which significantly facilitate citizens’ transactions with e-EFKA.

The services provided are the following:

1. Sickness allowance

2. Maternity allowance

3. Electronic Application for Funeral Expenses (retirees and employees of IKA)

4. Certificate of insurance (Insurance Time – Previous service)

The citizen enters the service using his personal Taxisnet codes and can make an appointment on a day and time that serves him, from his home or office computer or even from his mobile phone. On the day of the appointment, the interested party connects via video call with an employee of e-EFKA in order to submit applications for certificates, allowances or to be informed about a pension or insurance issue.
