Mysterious explosion killed a Russian leader of the raids in Mariupol – suspicions that they trapped him through gay acquisition

Zaur Alexandrovich Gerciev, a Russian Major and first deputy mayor of Stavroupoli, was killed early on Thursday morning, May 29th in a grenade explosion, according to Russian authorities and local media. According to the Kyiv Post, Gerciev was known for his involvement as the head of Russia’s airlines in Mariupol in 2022, during the devastating siege that left thousands of dead civilians behind. The Russian Agency Novosti reported that the explosion occurred outside a residential building at Chekhov Street 85/19 in Stavroupoli, where Gerciev found himself with another man. The first possibility that the authorities are considering is that a third person triggered a grenade and the two men were blown up.
