N. Androulakis: I will fight for PASOK to become a symbol of the rebirth of our social democratic ideas again

The president of PASOK-Movement for Change gave an interview to the television station IONIAN in the context of his two-day visit to Aigio and Patras.

Opening the televised discussion, Mr. Androulakis said he was shocked, like the whole of Greece, about the reversal of the case of the death of the three children. Justice to do its job, he said, adding that there must be plenty of light on this shocking case.

“I will go all over Greece, because I want PASOK to be reconnected with its social base through self-organization. PASOK’s strength was society. We are not a closed-walled party like SYRIZA. This party, “Founded by Andreas Papandreou, it can be reborn. And where a few years ago it symbolized the fall of social democracy, the ‘pasokofication’ that some people said, I will fight to become the message of the rebirth of our ideas,” said Mr. Androulakis. of the self-organization of the Movement, which has started two weeks ago.

Regarding the explosion of energy prices, the president of PASOK made a special reference to the package of measures of the Movement for the alleviation of the problems accumulated by the energy crisis to the farmers. Among other things, he underlined the abolition of the EFK for agricultural oil for 2022 and the subsidy for the fertilizer market. “Mr. Mitsotakis had the opportunity to pursue other policies, but he chooses policies for the few,” said the president of PASOK-Movement for Change.

Referring to the current political developments, he pointed out that the Prime Minister is lowering the bar of autonomy, which he had set, under the weight of the disapproval of his policy by the Greek people. Mr. Androulakis asked for a strong mandate from the citizens on the first Sunday in order for the PASOK-Movement for Change to impose its program and its executives.

“If Mr. Mitsotakis means collaborations but not on the first Sunday, it means that he is making strict tactics. I believe that. Mr. Mitsotakis sees the polls, his beans do not come out and he makes a turn thinking that he will pressure us. “We are under pressure because on the night of the elections it will be those who will celebrate and those who will have lowered their seats. The winners will be those who will have multiplied their percentage,” he stressed.
