The President of PASOK-Movement for Change Nikos Androulakis visited in the morning the wine cooperative “I Dimitra” in Nea Anchialos.
He pointed out the Movement’s proposals for the creation of energy communities so that farmers, stockbreeders and processors can produce the energy they need to consume, and become more shielded against the energy crisis that is dramatically increasing production costs.
Afterwards, the president of PASOK-Movement for Change had a meeting with local bodies at the town hall of Almyros. In his statements, he stressed that a ceiling should be imposed on the retail price of electricity tomorrow.
The following is the statement of the President of PASOK-Movement for Change:
Tsipras and Mitsotakis each during his rule increased the country’s dependence on imported natural gas, with the result that today the Greek people are paying more for the energy crisis than other European countries. The solution is not to shed crocodile tears over the huge electricity bills that the Greek people receive, but tomorrow morning to have a ceiling on the retail price of energy in the country.
