N. Androulakis: Priority is the increase of the minimum wage

With the issues of the minimum wage and the accuracy-energy crisis on the table, the president of PASOK-Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis is currently meeting with the Board of Directors of GSEE, in his office in Parliament.

At the beginning of the meeting, which is also attended by MPs and officials of the party, N. Androulakis thanked GSEE for this meeting and in fact “at a very critical time for employees,” as he pointed out. This is because, as he explained, “after ten years of fiscal adventure, the pandemic and now the energy crisis have greatly burdened the worker, the households, especially the most vulnerable.”

That is why, he continued, “we have stood by you, especially in the very critical, non-budgetary, but socially development, measure of the increase of the minimum wage to 751 euros, which we consider a priority especially at this time when the growth of social inequalities “.

At the same time, the PASOK-Movement for Change has set a framework, his president pointed out, especially for the energy crisis with measures which, as he said, “in other countries have been implemented and have created a safety net”. Such measures, according to N.
