The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will go to Brussels tomorrow, Monday, March 21, in order to participate in the Council of Foreign Affairs (SEU) of the European Union, according to a relevant announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Before the start of the Council, the Foreign Minister will host a working breakfast to his counterpart from Northern Macedonia, Bujar Osmani, which will be attended by other EU Foreign Ministers.
The issues on the agenda of the SEU are the Russian military attack on Ukraine and the situation in Mali. Ministers are expected to discuss other current international developments.
EU ministers will also have an exchange of views with Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Nikos Popescu over a working lunch.
Finally, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will participate, together with the Minister of National Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos, in the joint ministerial meeting of the EU Foreign Minister on the subject of the examination of the text of the “Strategic Compass”, with the aim of its adoption.
