The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, is going to Brussels, in order to participate in the afternoon of the extraordinary Council of Foreign Affairs of the EU, according to a relevant announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Foreign Affairs Council is convened as a follow-up to yesterday’s extraordinary EU Summit, in which the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, participated, in order for the Foreign Ministers of the 27 EU member states to discuss the situation in Ukraine after the Russian attack and coordinate their actions to impose restrictive measures on Russia.

Prior to his departure for Brussels, the Foreign Minister held a series of contacts with foreign officials.
