Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will meet with his Czech counterpart Jan Lipavský tomorrow, Thursday, March 3, in Athens.
The two foreign ministers will have a private meeting at around 12:00, which will be followed by extended talks. Talks between the two ministers are expected to focus on bilateral relations and the situation in Ukraine following Russia’s attack on the country, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
In addition, Greek-Czech cooperation within the European Union (EU) and NATO is expected to be discussed.
The joint statements of the two foreign ministers in the press are expected to take place at around 13:20.
It is noted that the visit of the Czech Foreign Minister also takes place in view of the assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the EU by the Czech Republic in the first half of July-December 2022.
