Styling the collectively negative attitude of SYRIZA in all the reforms that have been carried out in the last 2.5 years in the field of Education, Niki Kerameos stressed: “NO to everything. We open the schools, you want them closed. We close them, you want them open “But NOT in all other areas of the educational work of the last 2.5 years.”

He briefly mentioned the rich reform work that has been carried out at all levels of education, indicatively: starting kindergarten at the age of four, English in Kindergarten, 16,200 permanent appointments, 166 New Curricula, doubling of Standards and Experiments , mass trainings, provision of technological equipment for students and teachers, upgrade of technological equipment of schools, registration of 1.4 million students and teachers in the Panhellenic School Network, digitization of services, upgrade of Vocational Education and Training, establishment of EPAL Standards, establishment of Experimental and Thematic IEK, modernization of 336 study programs for Vocational Education and 130 training guides, paid internship program, modernization of the equipment of all Laboratory Centers through the Recovery Fund.

Ms. Kerameos also referred to the reforms related to Higher Education, indicatively: funding of universities based on objective and quality criteria, streamlining of the process of admission and study in universities, increased funding, more faculty members, establishment of foreign institutions, cooperation , framework for spin-off companies.
