The Lockheed Martin facilities in Fort Worth, Texas, United States, were visited by the Minister of National Defense, Nikos Panagiotopoulos, to learn more about the production processes and operational capabilities of the 5th generation F-35 fighter jets.
As announced, N. Panagiotopoulos received a warm welcome from executive vice president Gregory M. Ulmer, vice president of business development Denny Plessa, vice president and general manager of aviation programs Bridget Lauderdale and senior Lockheed Martin executives.
Participated in a briefing on the construction of 5th generation F-35 fighters.
The minister then visited the F-35 production line at the state-of-the-art Fort Worth facility to learn about the manufacturing and supply chain support processes for the construction of the F-35 fighters, as well as evolving delivery schedules.
He was also in the shelters where the new fighters are tested and received a full briefing from test pilot Chris Spinelli on the technical and operational characteristics of the aircraft.
