N. Paraskevopoulos: My own law is not responsible for the release of Lignadis

The strong reaction of the former Minister of Justice Nikos Paraskevopoulos was caused by the report by a state channel that his own law was responsible for the release of Dimitris Lignadis, with the former minister warning to appeal to the Justice.

In particular, in his statement, N. Paraskevopoulos says: “The Ghost Law is back! The “Paraskevopoulos Law” is responsible for the release of Lignadis, it was said by the state channel and with willing reproduction by Mr. Portosalte. Who “Paraskevopoulos Law” ” is completely and utterly irrelevant since the release of Lignadis is based not on … congestion relief but on the Code of Criminal Procedure, as it has been in force since 2010″.

Continuing, the former minister notes: “Who are they trying to disorient? But it is obvious, the Greek people. How? Trying to stigmatize a political party, SYRIZA PS, and the name of a person with vulgar and fraudulent lies.”

Concluding, Mr. Paraskevopoulos emphasizes: “When I was in politics, I never appealed to the Court for insults and slanders, having the infrastructure to answer. Today I have no reason to hesitate.”
