“The The probability that the United States is already in recession or falls into one this year has fallen in the past three months to 56% from a nearly two-thirds chance“, highlighted NABE according to Reuters.

According to the previous survey, released in October, 64% of respondents indicated that the US economy was already in recession or had a more than even chance of entering a recession in the next 12 months.
The survey also showed respondents expected inflation to ease in their companies and industries, with a forward-looking gauge of prices charged falling 10 percentage points from the last survey to the lowest reading since October 2020.
