Nagorno-Karabakh: Armenia, Azerbaijan pledge to avoid violence to resolve their disputes

THE Armenia and Azerbaijan pledged not to use military force in order to resolve their differences and issues in Nagorno Karabakhespecially after the recent deadly clashes.

Thus, Baku and Yerevan “agreed not to resort to military force” and to settle all disputes solely on the basis of mutual recognition of sovereignty and territorial integrity, according to a joint statement adopted at the end of the tripartite summit in Sochi of Russia with the participation of the leaders of the two countries and Kremlin strongman Vladimir Putin.

It is recalled that in September a new bloodline opened up in the areawith the West accusing Russia, as an instigator, that aimed to provoke an issue, on the occasion of the war in Ukraine.

Nevertheless, Russia from the outset declared that Vladimir Putin was watching the events (since Moscow talks without problem with both sides), while no Western country has interfered since then.
