The singer Naiara Azevedo 35, revealed on Thursday (21) the reasons why she was left out of the special Friends which was recorded on Wednesday (20). Ana Castela , Lauana Prado , Maiara and Maraisa and Simone Mendes are in the attraction that will air on TV Globo on December 18th.
In an interview with SBT’s Fofocalizando program, the ex-BBB explained that she did not participate in the show due to a choice made by the program’s management. Naiara, however, revered the completion of the project which, according to her, overturned fears that feminejo would end after the death of Marília Mendonça.
“It’s a choice made by the management, the direction of the program. And I’m very happy to know that we always have to look at the positive side of things and know how to admire each other’s work and cheer for our friends”, he declared.
“You understand that when Marília left us, there was such great uncertainty in the market, thinking: ‘My God, what now? What will happen to the female country music market without Marília Mendonça? Because she was our great pillar, in fact, she will always be our great inspiration.”
The Paraná owner of hits such as “50 Reais” also recalled that she was part of a first edition of the Amigas project, which emulates the meeting between the duos Leandro and Leonardo, Zezé Di Camargo and Luciano and Chitãozinho and Xororó. She shared the stage with Marília Mendonça, Maiara and Maraísa and Simone and Simaria.
“I was very happy, very honored to have been invited, but it was a project that, I think due to the pandemic, did not go ahead,” she said.
Chitãozinho & Xororó will be honored at the Brazilian Music Awards
