In February, the South Korean company Samsung announced a new flagship series of Galaxy S22 smartphones, and with it the updated One UI 4.1 firmware on which they work. Gradually, Samsung will update many of its previously released mobile devices to One UI 4.1. Which Samsung Galaxy models will receive the update, the authors of the SamMobile portal said.
Samsung already has a so-called roadmap for One UI 4.0 that requires all compatible devices to receive this version of the software by mid-2022. But there is no official release date for One UI 4.1 yet. But, according to journalists, most compatible smartphones and tablets will be able to upgrade to the new version of the proprietary user interface before the end of 2022.
It should be noted that the release of One UI for those Samsung devices for which Android 12 is the latest major OS update, such as the Galaxy S10 and Note 10, is still in doubt. Their update may be limited to One UI 4.0, and some models may skip this software version by switching from One UI 3.1 directly to One UI 4.1.
