Renault Logan became the best-selling European car in Russia in the summer of 2022. This is evidenced by the data of the Association of European Businesses (AEB).
According to AEB estimates, sales of the inexpensive Renault Logan sedan in Russia this summer amounted to 1,821 units, which allowed it to lead the TOP-5 of the best-selling European brands in the domestic market. It is followed by the Renault Duster crossover, which sold 1,404 copies between June and August. Volkswagen Polo is in third place in terms of sales – 1296 buyers have chosen this liftback.
Skoda Rapid found 1,103 owners this summer, making it the fourth most popular European car in Russia. Closes the top five leaders of the domestic market Renault Sandero, summer sales of which amounted to 684 copies.
It should be noted that all European brands included in the rating left the Russian market this year. And sales in the summer were provided at the expense of the auto stocks left by dealers. At the same time, compared with last year, sales of “Europeans” in Russia have collapsed several times.
