Nancy Pelosi, former Speaker of the US House, has announced that she is endorsing Kamala Harris as a candidate for President of the United States.
“Today, it is with immense pride and boundless optimism for the future of our country that I endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States,” Nancy said in a statement.
“My enthusiastic endorsement of Kamala Harris for president is official, personal and political,” he added.
“On the record, I have seen Kamala Harris’ strength and courage as a champion for working families, fighting especially for women’s right to choose. On a personal level, I have known Kamala Harris for decades as someone rooted in strong values, faith, and a commitment to public service,” the former president added.
“Politically, make no mistake: Kamala Harris, as a woman in politics, is brilliantly astute — and I have every confidence that she will lead us to victory in November,” he concluded.
Nancy Pelosi had previously told Joe Biden privately that polls showed he could not win this year’s presidential election, sources told CNN.
