NASA conveys return of astronauts arrested in space this Monday (17)

NASA will show, from the night of Monday (17), the flight that will bring back to Earth Astronauts of the Crew-9 Mission-arrested in space for almost nine months . The US Space Agency will open its broadcast at 11:45 pm Brasilia time.

The idea, as pointed out in the schedule released by NASA, is to convey from the closure of the hatch to the moment the ship will discharge from the International Space Station (ISS). The agency will again display mission images on Tuesday (18), from 5:45 pm Brasilia time, when the ship will begin the input maneuver into the land atmosphere.

The transmission will also show Splashdown, when the ship touches the aquatic surface, which should take place at 6:57 pm GMT on Tuesday. The exact location will still be confirmed by NASA and Spacex.

NASA Nick Hague’s astronauts, Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore like Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, they are completing a long -term scientific expedition aboard the orbital laboratory. Wilmore and Williams have been arrested at ISS since June 2024.

The two participated in the Starliner’s manned inaugural flight, Boeing’s spacecraft, to be seven days at ISS, but could not return due to technical problems on the ship. The event started one of the biggest stories involving the space in 2024.

With the arrival of the CREW-10 mission at ISS, early in the early hours of Sunday (16), they are being surrendered and replaced by other scientists.
