NASA spaceship photo captures the spot on the Moon where it was hit by a Japanese boat

A NASA spaceship revolving around the Moon has identified and photographed the impact point of the Japanese company ispace. NASA released the images on Friday, two weeks after the Japanese boat crashed on the surface of the Moon. The photos show a dark stain at the point where the moonwood called Resilience and its small rover in the Mare Frigoris area (cold sea), a volcanic area on the northern end of the lunar disc. Around the impact point is a faint halo, the result of the lunar dust that rose from the conflict. The snapshot was recorded by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter on June 11, 2025.
