THE Nasser Al Khelaifi is at the center of research to participate in abduction and torture in Qatar, according to L’Equipe, which is a new blow for her Paris Saint Germainas Ashraf Hakimi is being investigated for a rape case.
THE thesun.co.uk refers to the French publication and states that the incident took place in 2020 and the victim is lobbyist Tayeb Benabderrahmane.
Benabderrahmane claims he was kidnapped in January 2020 and then tortured for 6 months because he was in possession of sensitive documents regarding the awarding of the 2022 World Cup and the television rights of BeIN Media – owned by Nasser Al Khelaifi – for the projection of the next two World Cups.
He also states that in his possession there were documents with incriminating information regarding the actions of Nasser Al Khelaifi.
The lobbyist says he was granted his freedom that November after being placed under house arrest after first signing a “contract” that prevented him from disclosing the documents in his possession.
His lawyers, Maïtres Romain Ruiz and Gabriel Vejnar, said they were “very pleased” with the decision to investigate the case. “We are very happy that the real file of this story is finally being investigated by French justice,” they told AFP.
