National Cat Day: here are the most loved cats on TV

On February 17th, we join all the cats and cats of Italy to celebrate the National Cat Dayperhaps the only animal that always manages to conquer anyone – even allergy sufferers, who are ready to risk their lives in exchange for a little feline tenderness in order to pet one.

To celebrate this day in the best possible way, I leave you a selection of the most famous feline appearances on TV.

Salem’s Sabrina, the life of a Witch

We can say with certainty that Salem, the sorcerer-turned-cat of Sabrina, the life of a Witch, is the most popular feline of the TV series. He appears in all episodes of the series as a “talking cricket, advising Sabrina and helping her make the right decisions. For three years – 1998, 1999, 2000 – he won the Favorite Animar Star award at the Kids’ Choice Awards.

Garfield

Garfield is lazy and annoying, loves lasagna, hates Mondays and just does what he feels like doing. How to blame him? He teaches us in his own way how to never be struck by guilt and proudly enjoys his laziness and his gluttony.

Kit of Witches

Kit’s entry was almost always a symbol of a bad omen and meant that something was going to happen to the Halliwell sisters. I don’t want to spoil it, but we will discover over the seasons that perhaps something more is hiding behind the cat (… or someone).

Loser of Meet mine

Sfigatto is a very spoiled family cat with some not indifferent abilities, such as going alone to the toilet, flushing the water and saying “hello!” with the paw. When things go wrong, we can be sure that they will get worse thanks to Sfigatto, who does nothing but highlight the bad figures of Greg (Ben Stiller).

Lord Tubbington of Glee

His life is told by his mistress Brittany through a talk show that portrays the feline as a consummate rock star. Brittany often talks about him revealing that the cat smokes, eats fondue, is a Scientology follower and has a personal opinion of her on The Aristocats. \
