NATO: Attacks from or into space will not go unanswered

The NATO is ready to respond militarily if attacked or by space, the Alliance will say today according to a copy of the final announcement of the summit seen by Reuters.

“We believe that attacks (in NATO), from or into space, pose a clear challenge to the security of the alliance, the impact of which could threaten… prosperity, security, and stability, and could be so detrimental to modern societies as well as a conventional attack “, NATO leaders will say in their announcement that will be made public after today’s summit in Brussels.

Such attacks could lead to the invocation of Article 5, the alliance’s collective defense clause, the statement said.
