NATO calls for an end to the war

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to immediately stop the war in Ukraine and says there is a nuclear danger after Russia takes control of a Ukrainian power plant.

Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant

The reactors at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine suffered no damage and there was no leakage of radioactive material after a projectile hit a nearby building overnight on Thursday. The Russians dominated the site, according to the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, linked to the United Nations (UN).

Zelensky calls for support from the Russian population

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has appealed directly to the Russian population, asking citizens to organize protests against the takeover of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

NATO will not send troops to Ukraine

The next few days could be worse with more deaths in Ukraine, according to a warning by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. According to him, there is a consensus that the bloc’s planes should not enter Ukrainian airspace, nor should troops enter the country’s territory.

Brazilian GDP
