Russia is developing methods to accept payments in rubles for gas exports and will make decisions in a timely manner if European countries refuse to pay in Russian currency, the Kremlin said. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peshkov said there would be a clear framework for making such payments.
Peshkov also announced that Russian researchers would consider A video released on social media claiming to show Ukrainian soldiers mistreating Russian prisoners.
The spokesman said the video contained “monstrous images” that needed to be legally assessed so that those involved in what he described as torture could be held accountable for their actions.
Reuters could not independently confirm the authenticity of the video, as broadcast by the Athens News Agency. The agency seeks to receive the reaction of the Ukrainian side on the issue. Earlier, the Ukrainian army had stated that its forces complied with international rules and accused the Russiawithout providing evidence, that he makes such videos to discredit the Ukrainian soldiers.
