The representative of the Russian dissident Alexei NavalnyKira Jarmis, wrote to X that she is unable to confirm his deathwho was announced a while ago by the Russian prison authorities.
Jarmis wrote that Navalny's lawyer is traveling to the Arctic Circle prison where Navalny is being held serving a 19-year sentence.
Navalny's assistant made the same statement as Yarmish: “The Russian authorities are releasing a confession that they killed Alexei Navalny in prison. We have no way to confirm or disprove this,” Leonid Volkov wrote to X.
“We have no basis to believe the state propaganda,” Volkov wrote, adding that “if the news is true, then Putin is the one who killed Navalny.”
