Navalny's team offers reward for information about his death

Alexey Navalny's team is offering a reward for information about the death of the Russian opposition leader and those possibly responsible for the crime.

“For valuable and complete information about the murder and its perpetrators, we promise a reward of 20 thousand euros (the equivalent of around R$108 thousand) and organization of departure from the country, if you wish,” said Ivan Zhdanov, director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation from Navalny in a video message published Friday (23).

Navalny's team also asked the Russian military and law enforcement authorities to contact them anonymously with any information about the circumstances leading to his death.

Friday marks a national military holiday in Russia.

Alexei Navalny, 47, had been transferred to a remote penal colony in Siberia in late 2023. According to prison officials, the Putin critic felt unwell after a walk and immediately lost consciousness. According to Russian authorities, an investigation into Navalny's sudden death has been launched.
