Navy finds two bodies in the area where a ship sank in Pernambuco

The Brazilian Navy announced this Friday (24th) that it found two people dead in the area of ​​the wreck of the cargo ship “Thais IV”, in Pernambuco.

One of the bodies was found by the Patrol Vessel Guaíba, and the other by the C-105 Amazonas aircraft of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB). They will be transported to the Port of Recife on the Patrulha Grajaú ship, which is scheduled to dock at 6 am on Saturday (25).

Four people were missing. Another four were rescued alive and in good health on Wednesday (22).

The accident occurred 60 nautical miles from Cabedelo, in Paraíba . Searches are still ongoing.
