The Brazilian Navy announced this Friday (24th) that it found two people dead in the area of the wreck of the cargo ship “Thais IV”, in Pernambuco.
One of the bodies was found by the Patrol Vessel Guaíba, and the other by the C-105 Amazonas aircraft of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB). They will be transported to the Port of Recife on the Patrulha Grajaú ship, which is scheduled to dock at 6 am on Saturday (25).
Four people were missing. Another four were rescued alive and in good health on Wednesday (22).
The accident occurred 60 nautical miles from Cabedelo, in Paraíba . Searches are still ongoing.
