NBA champion rings are unique and can be worth thousands of dollars

The Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics 103-90 on Thursday (16) in the sixth game of the National Association of Basketball (NBA ). With this triumph, Stephen Curry and company won their seventh league title, and their fourth in the last eight seasons.

This gives the trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green their fourth title together, all under head coach Steve Kerr, following championship wins in 2015, 2017 and 2018.

They won 21 NBA Finals games together, having recently surpassed Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, who had the most NBA Finals wins by a trio in the last 30 years, 19.

With 17 wins, the Celtics remain tied with the Lakers for the most titles in NBA history.

The ultimate triumph for an NBA team, however, is to add one more championship to their franchise, so the title showcases get bigger and bigger.

However, winning the finals also brings glory and individual prizes, including the champion ring that all players on the winning team receive, which should be released in the coming months.

How much?

Being a collector’s item, NBA rings do not have an exact price. However, it is possible to estimate a value from what happened to former basketball player Lamar Odom in 2020.

That year, Odom pawned his two NBA championship rings, earned by becoming champions with the Lakers in 2009 and 2010.

They were then taken to auction where the total sale was estimated at $100,000, or $50,000 each.

Likewise, you can also find official replicas in the teams stores. For example, the Bucks’ replica ring costs $150, according to the team’s official store.
