AMD has unveiled the Ryzen 5000U APUs for regular and ultra-thin laptops for a couple of weeks, and the Ryzen 5000H for mobile workstations and gaming PCs. But this is not enough – a new series is coming. It’s called Ryzen Pro 5000U.
These APUs will be used in business notebooks, as users of these laptops primarily need AMD Pro technologies for additional data protection at various levels. How many APUs will be in this line is not reported, but at least two models have already appeared on the Web. These are Ryzen 7 Pro 5850U and Ryzen 5 Pro 5650U.

The characteristics of these APUs are shown in the picture above, and next to them are the characteristics of the Ryzen 7 5800U and Ryzen 5 5600U. As you can see, they are no different from the corresponding models of the Pro series, except, in fact, AMD Pro technologies, as the name indicates. Nothing is said about the date of the announcement of the Ryzen Pro 5000U, but it is unlikely that they will be presented during any special event – in this case, the company will most likely get by with a regular press release.
