Nelita, home of chef Tássia Magalhães, celebrates a year with a special menu

Nelita the young chef’s original Italian food restaurant Tássia Magalhães in Pinheiros, celebrates a successful year with a tasting menu inspired by the “affective memory of women in the kitchen”.

The house has an exclusively female team in charge of the cookware, and that is why the name of the tasting menu could not be different: “11 Memorable Times – Our Feminine Soul”.

The experience, served only on Tuesdays, explores the five senses, with delicacy and in the best “Instagrammable” style, but with strong and striking flavors.

This is the case of “O Palco”, a show with six snacks symbolizing a brief presentation of its cast that arrives at the table with the rain cake, the chicken mil leaves with mayonnaise, the corn porridge bread, the eggplant sablé smoked, the party brigadeiro with foie gras and the pumpkin and caviar pie.

Here, definitely, with each bite the diner is taken to a totally unexpected place, proving that not everything is as it seems.

Among the main ones are the creations “Para.Ti”, oyster, fish and salicornia mousse; “Um Arco-Íris na Mantiqueira”, trout, bleurre blanc, roe and roasted lettuce; “Mamma Mia”, lasagna, tomatoes, potatoes and flowers; “Ravioli, Uai?!”, kale ravioli, angu, green fava beans, sorrel and that smoked from the wood stove; “Almost Sweet Rice”, mini Pindamonhangaba rice, cauliflower, egg yolk and miso; and the “Duquesa de Quirera”, ribs, quirera and puff pastry made with Tourage butter from Manteigaria Nacional.

Towards the end of the show, comes the “Raspadinha”, made of acerola and orange, and, to sweeten the palate and give that childhood flavor, the “Strawberry with condensed milk”.

The experience ends with the “Caixa das Bailarinas”, in which the dancers are represented by beautiful sweets made of corn, honey, beetroot and hibiscus that look like jewels.

Diners can choose a pairing with national or international labels, all carefully crafted by fellow partner Danyel Steinle, as well as the wine list, which ranges from classics to natural and organic.

Served only on Tuesdays, Nelita’s special 1-year tasting menu costs R$440 per person.
