NEMO Protocol stopped work after a loss of $ 2.4 million

The attack occurred a few days before the maintenance of the platform, which was planned at the beginning of this week. The NEMO Protocol team said the incident has influenced its market pool, so the work of smart contracts was temporarily suspended. Platform security experts said that they were investigating what happened and promised to publish additional information.

Nemo Protocol assured that all user assets in the vault were not injured. However, many community members complained about Discord, which the protocol does not display their assets.

The NEMO platform positions itself as a service for obtaining yields based on SUI. About the founder and general director of the project, Alex Yenge, a little is known – on the Internet he appeared only in the sessions of answers to questions (AMA). There is no detailed information about the project team on the NEMO website, and the link to the page with contact information does not work. The company’s profile in Linkedin indicates that Jenge works remotely from the Chinese Shanghai – while the China is prohibited by the China.
