O Ibirapuera park hosts, on Saturday (25), the first free event on the Nerd Pride Day in Sao Paulo. Among other activities, there will be a series of workshops and panels for cosplayers.
The event takes place from 10am to 10pm and is organized by the Secretariat of Culture, Economy and Creative Industry, with management and production by the Associação Paulista dos Amigos da Arte (APAA).
“Join us to celebrate a unique and exciting day, which symbolizes the appreciation and recognition of nerd and geek cultural diversity!”, says the convention production.
The first panel, with the theme “Entrepreneurship in the World of Cosplay”, will take place at 10:30 am. Soon after, at 11:20 am, the public will be able to check out “How to Improve Your Performance in Cosplay Contests”. Look!
- Entrepreneurship in the World of Cosplay
In the first panel, guests will share their journeys, from their first steps as cosplayers to achieving their goals of becoming professional cosmakers. In addition, experiences working at events, collaborations in commercial activations, involvement in coordinating and judging cosplay contests will also be covered.
- How to Improve Your Performance in Cosplay Contests
In the second interaction, in addition to the experiences, guests will give tips to improve the performance of cosplayers who participate or intend to participate in contests. With several years of experience as judges in the biggest cosplay contests in Brazil, the guests have the basis to share valuable guidance.
