Nest Egg: Students can consult the list starting today; know how

High school students, enrolled in the public network, can check if they are included in the Pé-de-Meia Program, from the Ministry of Education (MEC), starting this Wednesday (20).

The program works as a type of savings account for high school students. The amount will be deposited into digital accounts automatically opened by Caixa Econômica Federal, in the names of the students themselves. The consultation can be made by Student Journey app .

To download, just go to your cell phone's virtual store, Google Play or App Store, download and enter with your gov.br login. In addition to providing digital documents and student records, the application is also a direct channel of communication between the MEC and the Brazilian student.

For those who are not currently among the beneficiaries of Pé-de-Meia, the MEC warns that the list is not definitive, because the information is being updated by municipal, state and Federal District education networks.

Students can follow the status update on the Student Journey app, as the MEC consolidates the information sent by the Education departments.

The first payment of the Nest Egg will be made from March 26th to April 3rd. The deposit of a single installment of R$200 will be made according to the students' month of birth.

  • · March 26: students born in January and February;
  • · March 27: students born in March and April;
  • · March 28: students born in May and June;
  • · April 1st: students born in July and August;
