Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today accused his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanesi of “betraying” Israel as the diplomatic tension between the two countries is exacerbated after Kamerra announced that it would recognize a Palestinian state. “History will remember Albanesi for what he is: a weak politician who betrayed Israel and abandoned Australia’s Jews,” Netanyahu wrote in X. Earlier today Australian Foreign Minister Peni Wong described him as “unjustified” soils.
