Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to be released from hospital on Sunday after no irregularities were found in additional medical tests he underwent, his office said.
Netanyahu, 73, was taken Saturday to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer, near his private residence on the coast of Caesarea, on suspicion of dehydration and kept under observation overnight.
In a video statement issued by the hospital, he appeared to be in good spirits and said he had vacationed on the Sea of Galilee without adequately protecting himself from a heat wave.
Israel’s weekly cabinet meeting, usually held on Sunday, has been postponed to Monday (17).
