Netanyahu plans to meet Trump next week, says website

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to meet US President Donald Trump in the White House next week, the Walla News of Israel said on Monday (27), citing three Israeli and American sources not identified.

The United States sent representatives of former President Joe Biden and current Donald Trump to participate in the mediation of the ceasefire between Israel and the Hamas Group, which came into force on Sunday (19).

On Saturday (25) the Republican indicated that he spoke to the king of Jordan about the possibility of building housing and transferring more than 1 million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to neighboring countries.

Trump said he asked Jordan’s Abdullah II II call on Saturday, a US key partner in the region to receive more Palestinians.

“I told him that I would love to accept more [palestinos]Because I’m looking at the entire Gaza Strip now and it’s a mess, it’s a real mess, ”the new president of reporters aboard the Air Force One, the official plane of the American presidency.

Jordan’s state news agency Petra reported the connection with Trump, but did not mention the relocation of Palestinians. The kingdom houses more than 2.39 million registered Palestinian refugees, according to the UN.
