Netanyahu says fighting resumes after Hamas violates truce agreement

The Israeli military resumed fighting against Hamas in the Gaza Strip this Friday (1st) after the radical Islamic group broke the general lines of the truce, said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a statement released in his office .

Hamas “did not respect its obligation to release all the abducted women today and launched rockets at the citizens of Israel,” said Netanyahu.

With the return of the combat mission, the “Israeli government is obliged to fulfill the objectives of the fighting”, according to the prime minister.
