Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked the United States House of Representatives for approving a package that includes aid to Israel.
“The U.S. Congress overwhelmingly passed a much-loved relief bill that demonstrates strong bipartisan support for Israel and defends Western civilization. Thank you friends, thank you America!”, Netanyahu said on social media after the vote this Saturday (20).
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz also thanked the House, saying he expects the package to pass the U.S. Senate “soon with strong bipartisan support.”
Posting on X, Katz thanked Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson and Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
“The vote on the Israel aid package with overwhelming bipartisan support proves the strong ties and strategic partnership between Israel and the US and sends a strong message to our enemies,” he wrote.
