Netanyahu’s plan for Gaza will exacerbate the humanitarian crisis, eight European countries denounce

Spain and seven other European countries today condemned Israel’s plan to take control of the city of Gaza, warning that this would “exacerbate” the humanitarian crisis and put “an additional risk of the (Israeli) hostages”. In a joint statement, the Eight -Country Foreign Ministers point out that this plan will only be “exacerbated the humanitarian crisis and to put a further danger to the lives of hostages”, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defends his plan before the press. The announcement of this plan has caused a wave of criticism in the country, and by the far -right allies of Netanyahu, and internationally. The Foreign Ministers of Spain, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Portugal and Slovenia sign the text.
