Netflix, Amazon, HBO: Check out what hits streaming in December

To close the year, the month of December brings many attractions to attract the public on streaming. In addition to the traditional Christmas movies, which started to be released in November, many beloved names of the public are following.

The first highlight is the end of the series “The Money Heist”, who conquered the world with the plot of bank robbers. Netflix also brings the movie “Don’t Look Up”, loaded with heavy names like Leonardo Dicaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Ariana Grande, Timothée Chalamet, Maryl Streep, Jonah Hill e Chris Evans.

On HBO Max, the highlight is the debut of “And Just Like That”, sequel to “Sex and The City”, bringing back the main characters, including Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw.

Disney brings another spin-off of “Star Wars” and a documentary series from National Geographic that shows Will Smith on adventures through the most unusual places on planet Earth.

The outcome of one of Netflix’s most successful series globally hits the platform in early December. The final 10 episodes, each about an hour long, are a continuation of the first part of the season, which premiered in September.

The Titans, heroes of the DC Comics universe, fight a new enemy, who wants to destroy the city of Gotham.

With Sandra Bullock in the lead role, the film tells the story of a woman who is released from prison after serving her sentence for murder. Despite having spent years in jail, she still hasn’t achieved society’s forgiveness.

12/15 – The hand of God

In Naples, a young man in love with football has a difficult time with his family and discovers cinema. Figures like Maradona are central to the Italian plot.

17/12 – The Witcher (Temporada 2)

Starring Henry Cavill the Superman, the series continues the saga first portrayed in video games. Overproduction involves magic and monsters.

22/12 – Emily In Paris (Temporada 2)

The comedy that shows a young American trying to conquer her space in the Parisian fashion world shows its second season, where, despite being more adapted, Emily will have to face the consequences of her actions.

12/24 – Don’t Look Up

The story of two astronomers who discover an asteroid on a deadly trajectory toward Earth is portrayed by a powerful cast, headed by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, with Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Chris Evans (Captain America, Marvel) Jonah Hill, Maryl Streep, Cate Blanchett and Matthew Perry (Chandler, from “Friends”).

26/12 – Lulli

The Brazilian production will tell the story of a medical student, played by Larissa Manoela, who, after being shocked by an MRI machine, starts to hear people’s thoughts.

06/12 – Landscapers

The new original series from HBO shows the life of a couple in the English countryside, played by award-winning Olivia Colman and David Thewlis, after police discover two bodies buried in their backyard.

09/12 – And Just Like That…

The long-awaited spin-off of the hit “Sex And The City” will show the life of Carrie Bradshaw and her friends after a few years. The series will also feature the return of beloved characters and new members.

16/12 – Station Eleven

After an epidemic of swine flu killed much of humanity, survivors try to rebuild life after the loss.

The National Geographic production for Disney showcases Will Smith’s thrilling adventure in many unusual locations on Earth.

12/29 – The Book of Boba Fett

In this new spin-off from the “Star Wars” universe, one of the main characters in the franchise gets more screen space and shows details of his story.

01/12 – Harlem

The comedy features four ambitious friends who seek their space in male-dominated markets such as academia, technology and music.

12/08 – FC Bayern: Behind the Legends

The documentary series follows the 2019/20 season, one of the best for the club in recent years. In the reinvention phase, the spectator will be able to follow what happens in the management and behind the scenes of the team.
