According to the Bulletin of the Film Distributor, which refers to its own informants, the Netflix streaming service is suspending the production of all Russian TV series.
To date, Netflix has launched four projects into production:
- Drama series “Anna K” with Svetlana Khodchenkova in the title role (produced by 1-2-3 Production and “Druga Druga”);
- The series with Alexander Petrov (Hydrogen and Monkey Style are responsible for the production);
- The series “Nothing Special” with Yura Borisov (1-2-3 Production is responsible for production);
- Crime thriller “Zato” by Daria Zhuk (produced by Irina Smirnova and Alexander Kushaev).

Earlier it became known that Netflix refused to broadcast 20 Russian federal TV channels contrary to the requirements of Russian law. In addition, we have already reported that the Russians were unable to pay for Spotify and Netflix subscriptions due to sanctions.
Disney, Sony Pictures and WarnerMedia have also suspended film releases in Russia.
