Netflix released, this Tuesday (30), a teaser for the new film derived from the horror trilogy “Rua do Medo” original to the platform.
The new feature film is subtitled “Prom Queen” (“Queen of the Prom”, translated into Portuguese) and, according to Netflix, will be set in 1988.
“Prom season is underway and the It Girls are competing for the crown. Until a stranger is appointed and the other girls begin to mysteriously disappear”, says the official synopsis.

The cast is made up of India Fowler, Suzanna Son, Fina Strazza, David Iacono, Ella Rubin, Chris Klein, Lili Taylor It is Katherine Waterston.
Just like the original trilogy, the new film will take place in fictional town of Shadyside.
The trilogy films, “Rua do Medo: 1994 – Part 1”, “Rua do Medo: 1978 – Part 2” It is “Rua do Medo: 1666 – Part 3” feature a group of teenagers who face an evil force that has terrorized a city for centuries, after brutal murders occur in the present.
There is still no release date for “Rua do Medo: Prom Queen”.
