Netflix will premiere a documentary on the case of Britney Spears and here we have the trailer

A new Netflix documentary about Britney Spears is about to hit the small screen after the first trailer for Britney vs. Spears, confirming that the giant of streaming has been working on a film that talks about the case of the singer against her father.

A video of just over a minute and a half talks in detail about the constant and complicated struggle that Britney has had to face because of the guardianship under which she has been living for the last 13 years of her life, as well as the people who have directly benefited from your work and money.

The documentary is directed by Erin Lee Carr and has been in production for over a year. Netflix has not given more details on what topics it will touch, what will be the tests under which the story it will show will be based and whether or not there will be statements by Britney or her family.

However, according to this first advance, the documentary could be focused specifically on the guardianship agreement and all those involved in the case. It is not yet known if the singer will appear in the documentary, especially since she is still in the process of solving her case.

The news of this new project by Netflix comes after Jamie Spears asked the judge in charge of the case to terminate the conservatorship that he himself has been administering since 2008, declaring that his daughter has the right to control her own life if so he wishes.

If Miss Spears wants to end the conservatorship and believes that she can manage her life herself, Mr. Spears believes that she should have that opportunity.

Last year Hulu released a documentary titled Framing Britney Spears, a collaboration between the FX television network and the New York Times, which mainly focused on the movement #FreeBritney, which ensures that the singer has lived under guardianship against her own will.

The docuseries caused a massive backlash on social media, with artists like Christina Aguilera and Ariana Grande posting messages of support. In addition, the general public has questioned and pressured the Los Angeles court to seek a just solution for the singer. Britney vs. Spears is coming to Netflix on September 28.
